The Eco committee would like to say well done to the boys and girls at Holytown Primary School for collecting lots of old and unused clothes. We managed to raise over £100.

Remembrance Assembly Rooms 5/6

On the 11th of November 2015 Rooms 5/6 held an emotional assembly to commemorate Remembrance Day. We were fortunate to have the company of Mr Robert Trotter, a veteran of the Second World War to join us. Whilst wearing poppies the children recited poetry, displayed art work,showed a moving powerpoint,sang songs about war and peace and also included a thoughtful prayer.
We worked as a team to perform to a captive audience and there was hardly a dry eye in the house.

Room 7 Interdisciplinary Learning
The boys and girls in Primary 5 have been busy learning about Africa. We have completed different stations including ICT research, learning to speak Swahili, art and matching the correct safari animal to the correct facts.
