Over the past few weeks we have been enjoying listening to different versions of the Three Little Pigs story. We made fantastic little piggy masks and re-enacted the story in groups. We wrote instructions on how to make a piggy mask. Our wanted posters were specially designed to help catch the big bad wolf. We had to use lots of describing words so that everyone would know what the big bad wolf looks like. We wrote our own Three Little Pigs stories with a beginning, middle and end. We used speech in our stories as well as describing words to describe our characters and their feelings. Everyone worked in groups to make the pigs houses and we learned about different types of building materials. We loved designing our own outfits for our little pigs. Some of us chose a repetitive pattern and others chose a random pattern. Just for fun we made little piggy biscuits using coloured icing.
