Room 12 are learning about the role microorganisms play in our lives.  Last week  children looked at some examples of mouldy food (bread, apples and cheese) and were asked to identify what has caused the decay. We then started our experiment to discover which would decay and grow mould first.  Children made their hypothesis and we placed our sample food in sealed containers to observe them over the next two weeks.
