Nursery Uniform and Clothing<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

As you will be aware, children learn best when they are engaged in hands-on activities, which can often be messy. \u00a0In the Nursery we endeavour to protect your child\u2019s clothing against these elements but this is not always possible. \u00a0Therefore we ask that you do not dress your child in their best clothes to Nursery. \u00a0We also ask that they do not wear football colours, jewellery or other items that may restrict your child\u2019s movement or cause him \/ her any distress as they see to their personal hygiene needs.\u00a0 This is in accordance with North Lanarkshire\u2019s clothing and personal effects policy.<\/p>\n

A Holy Family Nursery sweatshirt and polo shirt are available for you to purchase at Scotcrest.<\/p>\n

To access all areas of the curriculum, the children will take part in a variety of Outdoor Play activities in all types of weather conditions; therefore it is important that you ensure that your child is suitably dressed for the weather conditions. \u00a0Wellingtons and soft shoes can be left in the Nursery, provided they are labelled. \u00a0To ensure the safety of the children in the Nursery we ask that all children wear soft shoes whilst in the Playrooms.<\/p>\n

The children will be allocated a specific peg for their coat and belongings which should be clearly marked with their name. \u00a0We ask that you mark all your child\u2019s belongings with their name so that staff can identify these. \u00a0We would also ask that in the event of an accident, where your child may need his \/ her clothes changed, you leave a change of clothes in a bag on your child\u2019s peg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
