Please find attached the Homework Grid for September. The grid includes both “Must Do” and optional activities for your child to complete throughout the month.<\/p>\n
Each week, children will bring home either their class novel study or a reading book to help develop their reading skills. They will also receive either a spelling wallet with word lists or a word tin containing phonemes and common words to practise at home.<\/p>\n
Regular practice at home is extremely beneficial and helps children build confidence in recognising and reading words and phonemes. We encourage you to spend a few minutes each day supporting your child with these activities, as this will reinforce their learning and progress in school.<\/p>\n
