Peer Mediation

Within the school our trained senior pupils offer a peer mediation service.

Peer mediation has been running within the school for a number of years and is a system whereby trained older pupils mediate over minor playground disputes in an attempt to resolve conflict and build capacity for increased awareness of individual’s actions.

At the start of term the childrenĀ  attend a pupil led assembly where roleplay is used to explain this in more detail and to ensure shared understanding of this service.
