Task \u2013 Have a picnic and bring along your teddy, looking at the weather it may have to be an indoor picnic, but that’s what happens when we live in Scotland.
\nWhen making your picnic here are some maths terms to think about.
\n\u2022 When you are setting up the picnic give one plate and cup to each person.
\n\u2022 Can you count how many altogether?
\n\u2022 When making sandwiches use words like whole, half and quarter.
\n\u2022 Pouring drinks use words like full, half full, empty.
\n\u2022 Has everyone got the same or a fair share?<\/p>\n
Sing \u201cteddy bears picnic\u201d
\nIf you go down to the woods today
\nYou’re sure of a big surprise.
\nIf you go down to the woods today
\nYou’d better go in disguise!
\nFor every bear that ever there was
\nWill gather there for certain because
\ntoday’s the day the
\nTeddy Bears have their picnic.<\/p>\n
Next week we will be growing beans, If you are out at the shops over the weekend you may wish to pick up some beans. Any kind of bean will work, climbing beans, runner beans, broad beans, dried peas\u00a0 or dried butter beans. If you can’t got hold of any please don’t worry, the ladies will be planting some and you can watch them grow.<\/p>\n
