We are really enjoying the book so far but it is sad sometimes. For storywriting we wrote a newspaper article about the \u2018Outbreak of WWII\u2019. We used our research and facts to write this recount.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to our star writers :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/holycrossblog\/files\/2018\/11\/IMG_2796-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12501 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/holycrossblog\/files\/2018\/11\/IMG_2796-1-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mrs Thomspon from the English Department in St Maurice\u2019s came to work with us. We completed a close reading task about WWII.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Numeracy and Maths<\/strong>:<\/em> In maths we have began learning about decimals, especially tenths. We have learned how to add decimal numbers and find the missing decimal number.<\/p>\n<p>We did symmetry, transition, reflective and rotational.
