What a fabulous start to the year. Primary 6\/7 are really enjoying their new topic Harry Potter.\u00a0 We have read a few of the chapters and are really interested in the character descriptions and finding out about magic.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we have been revising the 4 operations in preparation for the start of our new topic ‘Decimal Fractions’ on Monday.\u00a0 We know that this will be a challenging topic but we know that we can do it.<\/p>\n

In Literacy, we are reading The Demon Headmaster by Gillian Cross for our modelling block.\u00a0 We are revising the 6 comprehension strategies and we are enjoying the book so far.<\/p>\n

For Art this week we made a collaborative piece of work, that when put together formed a Harry Potter picture.\u00a0 It looks amazing!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Our gym days at present are a Wednesday and a Thursday.\u00a0 Our Thursday PE time is at the pitches so we ask that the children bring a PE kit for outdoor activities (jogging bottoms\/leggings and a long sleeve top.<\/p>\n
