Making snowballs –\u00a0<\/strong>Counting the balls as you go. \u00a0How many have we made? \u00a0If we make another one how many will there be? \u00a0If we add \/ takeaway some how many will there be?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\nDressing for winter –\u00a0<\/strong>Get your child to tell you about all the things you need to wear to keep warm. \u00a0They could draw a picture of themselves and their family all dressed up for the weather. \u00a0Ask questions for example \u2013 Who has the biggest boots? Who has the smallest?<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Making shapes in the snow –\u00a0<\/strong>Can you make a circle, square etc with a stick or with your footprints in the snow? \u00a0Who can make the biggest, smallest?<\/span><\/td>\nFeeding the birds –\u00a0<\/strong>Talk about what can be done to help the birds during winter. \u00a0Make a fat ball or a seed cake for them.<\/span><\/p>\n
