Hello!<\/span><\/p>\n

It is my great privilege to be Head Teacher of Holy Cross and work with a team of staff who want the best of all of the children in our care. We hope you will find the information contained on this website of interest and that it will help you understand more about our school. Holy Cross Primary and Nursery Class has for many years enjoyed a well deserved reputation of high educational standards. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum which allows each child to develop their knowledge and skills across their learning journey. Through our strong Catholic ethos in the Primary and as Duty Bearers of Children’s Rights on both Primary and Nursery Class, we promote inclusion and equality for all.<\/span><\/p>\n

We aim to work in partnership with parents and carers, as by working together we will enhance the learning experiences for your child supporting them to develop intellectually, morally, physically, socially and spiritually. By ensuring both home and school promote the importance of learning and education we will achieve success for our children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our week long visit from Her Majesty\u2019s Inspectorate back in March 2017 was very positive and highlighted our many strengths. We have high but realistic expectations of our pupils, encouraging creativity\u00a0 and innovation through STEM learning; we want our children to see learning as a life long journey. We provide our children with opportunities to take care of the environment and instil in them a strong sense of Social Justice. We strive to ensure exceptional standards of care and welfare for all of our children.<\/span><\/p>\n
