{"id":83,"date":"2015-06-19T09:34:42","date_gmt":"2015-06-19T09:34:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/anntest3\/?page_id=83"},"modified":"2023-01-12T11:52:03","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T11:52:03","slug":"breakfast-club","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/golfhillpsclassblog\/breakfast-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Breakfast Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"block-north-lanarkshire-page-title\">\n<h1>Breakfast clubs<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-north-lanarkshire-content\">\n<div class=\"ace-node-council-information-page ace-branded-page\">\n<div class=\"ace-content\">\n<div class=\"ace-page-main-content ace-width-1-1\">\n<div class=\"ace-notice-paragraph\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-content-paragraphs\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ace-paragraph-basic-paragraph\">\n<div class=\"ace-field-body\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Primary school breakfast clubs provide an excellent start to the school day.<\/p>\n<p>They aim to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>provide\u00a0a healthy nutritious meal<\/li>\n<li>help children to be alert and ready to learn<\/li>\n<li>encourage children to mix with their friends<\/li>\n<li>improve attendance and performance throughout the day<\/li>\n<li>reassure parents that their child is safe when dropped off in the morning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All primary schools in North Lanarkshire operate a breakfast club.<\/p>\n<p>The opening times range from\u00a08.15am until 8.50am and operate\u00a0at the discretion of the headteacher.<\/p>\n<p>The breakfast consists of cereal, milk\u00a0and toast.\u00a0This is free to pupils who are in Primary 1 to 4 and for pupils in Primary 5 to\u00a07\u00a0who receive\u00a0free school meals.\u00a0For all other pupils the cost is \u00a31 per day with a sliding scale for families of two at \u00a31.50 per day and families of three at \u00a31.80 per day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breakfast clubs &nbsp; Primary school breakfast clubs provide an excellent start to the school day.
