{"id":2623,"date":"2022-03-28T13:35:18","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T13:35:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/golfhillpsclassblog\/?page_id=2623"},"modified":"2023-01-12T10:35:59","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T10:35:59","slug":"the-house-system-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/golfhillpsclassblog\/the-house-system-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The House System"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"page-entry-header\">\n<p class=\"entry-title\">\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"single-entry-content\">\n<p>There are four houses:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff00\">Scone<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Balmoral<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Holyrood<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">Glamis<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Everyone belongs to one of the houses.<\/p>\n<p>The main aims of the House System are to encourage good behaviour and a positive work ethic amongst all children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How It Works:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a house notice board where each house\u2019s captains, the house picture and points are displayed<\/li>\n<li>Children can earn points by taking part in school activities<\/li>\n<li>A maximum of 5 points should be awarded at any one time, except in exceptional circumstances!<\/li>\n<li>Points should not be deducted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Points can be awarded for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good work<\/li>\n<li>Good behaviour (in class and around the school)<\/li>\n<li>House events<\/li>\n<li>Representing the school<\/li>\n<li>Personal achievements outwith school<\/li>\n<li>House competitions held in assemblies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>House points will be collected every week.
