Our Eco Committee have organised an eco day of action on Friday June 19th. \u00a0All classes will be involved in an eco activity to raise awareness of eco issues and looking after our school environment and beyond. \u00a0We look forward to posting photographs and sharing\u00a0all of our great learning with you.<\/p>\n
As part of our eco day, our hard working Parent Council will be running an Eco Shop. They have washed old items of school uniform and will be selling these very cheaply for parents who want to get organised for next session. Mrs Blair\u00a0 will run the eco shop from\u00a0\u00a0 9am -11am in the school reception area. I have attached a price list below –<\/p>\n
Eco Shop Price List 17 June 2015<\/a><\/p>\n If you have any donations of old school uniform for the eco shop, please hand them in to the school office by 3pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n Here are the activities that we will be involved in tomorrow.<\/p>\n P1a and P1b – Book Swap in class and an eco fishing game (made by the eco-committee)<\/p>\n P2 – Making posters to highlight the importance of saving energy<\/p>\n P2\/3 – Litter pick of the playground after break time<\/p>\n P3 – Litter pick of the playground after lunch<\/p>\n P4 – Create a graph showing the litter collected by P2\/3<\/p>\n P4\/5 – Looking after our vegetable garden<\/p>\n P5 – Talk from Scottish Water 1pm-2pm<\/p>\n P5\/6 – Talk from Scottish Water 2pm-3pm<\/p>\n P6\/7 – Cooking some delicious food<\/p>\n P7 – Water the plants (Graduation in the afternoon)<\/p>\n As well as all of these great learning opportunities all classes will have the opportunity to complete an eco orienteering challenge.<\/p>\n We are looking forward to a great day!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our Eco Committee have organised an eco day of action on Friday June 19th. \u00a0All classes will be involved in an eco activity to raise awareness of eco issues and looking after our school environment and beyond. \u00a0We look forward to posting photographs and sharing\u00a0all of our great learning with you.
