It is essential, therefore, for the school to have an <strong><u>emergency contact<\/u> <\/strong>that can be reached by <strong><u>telephone<\/u> <\/strong>should any child have to be taken home unexpectedly.<\/p>\n<p>Under no circumstances will a child be sent home\/allowed to leave the school unaccompanied.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #ffcc00\"><strong>First Aid<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As facilities for the care of sick children in school are limited to basic first aid only, it is essential that an \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>EMERGENCY CONTACT<\/strong>,<\/span> who can be reached by telephone, is given to the school.\u00a0 It is particularly helpful if two contacts can be named in case the first adult is not available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Procedures When A Child Takes Ill If a child takes ill in school, or has an accident during school hours, a member of our office team will make every effort to contact a parent in the first instance.
