Transfer from Primary School to Secondary School<\/u><\/p>\n
Pupils normally transfer between the ages of 11\u00bd and 12\u00bd so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least 4 years of secondary education.\u00a0 Parents will be informed of the arrangements no later than December of the year preceding the date of transfer at the start of the new session.<\/p>\n

Primary One Pre Entry Programme<\/u><\/p>\n
Children who have registered to attend Glengowan are invited to engage in \u2018Transition Tuesdays\u2019 and to school for a transition visit with their teacher, and for a transition lunch.\u00a0 Parents are emailed\/posted information about the start of their child\u2019s education. They are encouraged to contact the school to ask questions and discuss any concerns they may have.<\/p>\n
