Burns’ Supper

Our P6 and 7 pupils enthusiastically entertained their parents and invited guests with an afternoon of Scottish poetry, song, dance and interesting facts about Scotland and Robert Burns. The visitors thoroughly enjoyed the event and everyone tucked into a delicious meal of haggis, neeps and tatties. The event was supported by Airdrie Burns’ Club, Airdrie Savings Banks and Glencairn Crystal. Many thanks to them for their continued support.

Morrisons Performance

We were invited to perform Scottish music and song at the local Airdrie store to celebrate Burns’ Day. Children from P5-7 entertained staff and customers with a Scottish medley of songs and popular Scots’ music was played on the bagpipes. Many thanks to Morrisons for continuing to support us and well done to the performers!

P5-P7 Health and Wellbeing Survey

The council and its partners are currently working with the Scottish Government through a programme called Realigning Children’s Services to help to improve local services for children in your area. All primary schools in the area have been invited to take part and we are inviting all children in P5 to P7 to complete a short online questionnaire during school time on their lives and wellbeing. More information regarding this survey will be issued shortly. Please check schoolbags
