Homework

Children will be asked to do a certain amount of work at home and your co-operation in seeing that it is done will be appreciated.  Parental involvement in home learning encourages your child to do well and shows your interest in what and how they are doing.  For primary children half an hour should be an adequate amount of time to complete the set work.

All children are issued with Homework Diaries, which you are asked to read as they often contain reminders as well as set homework tasks.  Please sign all written homework and your child’s reading record/homework diary.  If homework presents a problem, it is important to bring this to the attention of the class teacher who will provide additional support/reassurance to your child.  Please do not hesitate to contact the school if this is the case.
