Poetry Competition


Children across the school from Primary 3 to Primary 7 recently took part in our annual poetry competition.  Each class had a different Scots poem to learn and a number of children were chosen to represent their class.  These children delivered their poem to a whole school audience and we were especially delighted this year that all of the children used actions to emphasise the main parts of their poem.  A special mention also goes to the children of Primary 1 and Primary 2 who learned a class poem and spoke confidently to the whole school.  Here’s the children who were judged to be the winners from P3 through P7:
