{"id":1016,"date":"2021-01-25T08:59:55","date_gmt":"2021-01-25T08:59:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/ghsgaidhlig\/?page_id=1016"},"modified":"2022-02-09T14:27:41","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T14:27:41","slug":"p7-gaelic-learners-2021","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/ghsgaidhlig\/p7-gaelic-learners-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"P7 Gaelic Learners 2021\/2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Greenfaulds High School Gaelic Department<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hello and welcome to Greenfaulds High School Gaelic Department.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 2000 with one teacher and only the subject of Gaidhlig offered, the Gaelic Department at Greenfaulds High School has grown, and continues to grow.\u00a0 There is now a team of 4 teachers, delivering 10 subjects to approximately 115 pupils.\u00a0 This includes the delivery of the Gaelic (Learners) course where pupils learn Gaelic as a second language from S1, with the opportunity to follow this curriculum to National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels.<\/p>\n<p>The staff now support the learning of Gaelic in Westfield primary, Eastfield primary, Condorrat primary, Ravenswood primary, Woodlands primary and Baird memorial primary.
