North Lanarkshire’s Sumdog Contest begins on the 16th of November until the 22nd. Well done to Mrs Duncan’s class who are currently 56th in the competition. Remember 10 pupils from each class must log in at a time for results to qualify.

Gartcosh Primary School now has a 2o’clock mindfulness bell. At 2o’clock the school bell rings everyday and the whole school has the opportunity to take a mindful moment. All classes have been offered a range of mindful practices they can consider. @youthmindful

This term your child will be reinforcing their learning through topics. These support the children’s learning in social subjects, science and technology. You may want to help your child in this through visiting websites or days out. In order to support you the topics for each class are detailed below.
We hope to have the children out and about to help enhance their learning opportunities.
If you feel that you could help through expert knowledge, resources or experience then please drop a note to your child’s teacher. Thank you
A huge thank you to everyone who made it along to ‘Meet the Teacher’ yesterday afternoon. We hope you enjoyed working collaboratively with your child and learned more information about our new curricular development – BIG MATHS. Here are a few photographs of our event.
