During Expressive Art lessons, we have been learning about the colourful tribal necklaces worn by the Maasai Tribe in Kenya. The more jewellery a member of the tribe wears reveals their hierarchy within the group. We used a variety of colourful, geometric patterns and collage materials to recreate our own Massai necklaces.
