Gartcosh Primary Vision and Values<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens who are resilient, successful and responsible members of the community.<\/p>\n

Our motto is<\/p>\n

Imagine with all your mind.<\/em><\/span>
\nBelieve with all your heart.<\/em><\/span>
\nAchieve with all your might.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our vision is to create for our children and community a life built on success, self-discovery, resilience, passion for learning and skills for life. We are concerned with the development of the whole person: intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We emphasise the dignity of the individual and promote kindness and respect for others as individuals of worth.<\/p>\n

Our Values are expressed as follows<\/p>\n

G<\/span>\u00a0 – We value a growth mindset. We set ourselves goals, never give up, we work hard and keep on trying.<\/p>\n

A<\/span>\u00a0 – We value aspiration. We set goals and work hard to achieve them.<\/p>\n

R<\/span>\u00a0 – We value respect for ourselves, for others and for our local and global community.<\/p>\n

T<\/span>\u00a0 – We value teamwork. By working co-operatively we can achieve even more, we can help each other to be the best we can be!<\/p>\n

C<\/span> – We value caring. We are kind to ourselves and to others.<\/p>\n

O<\/span> – We value others, our parents, family and community and how we can support each other. We celebrate differences and learn from those around us.<\/p>\n

S<\/span> –\u00a0 We value high standards of behaviour, and respect people and property.<\/p>\n

H<\/span>\u00a0 – We value happiness. Our school should be a happy place to be where everyone feels safe.<\/p>\n
