Partners in play have asked us to inform as many parents and families about the following:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hello Friends of Partners in Play<\/p>\n

Please forgive the bulk email, but we wanted to alert you to some work that we are undertaking with Partners in Play.<\/p>\n

As most of you will know, Partners in Play provides a range of activities for children in Lanarkshire with additional support needs. They aim to help the children and families they work with to have access to the same social and recreational opportunities and activities as everyone else.\u00a0 There are very few facilities within a reasonable travel distance and Partners in Play has a vision to create a high quality Adventure Play area for children and young people in or near Lanarkshire. It will be open to any members of the public but will also be designed to allow access to all (bringing together disabled and non-disabled children and young people).<\/p>\n

We would be very grateful for your help with three things;<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will be in touch very soon to arrange for a stakeholder and partner meeting.\u00a0 We\u2019d love to get you together to discuss the project
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are holding an open meeting for families, carers, children and young people who would benefit from such a facility.\u00a0 It will be from 6pm till 8pm at St. Margaret\u2019s High School, Waverly Drive, Airdrie (Sports Hub Entrance).\u00a0 .\u00a0 If you are able to publicise this to your friends and members that would be a big help.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We have designed a short survey for people who might use the facility.\u00a0 It is vital that this receives a good response so we would be very grateful if you would publicise this to the people you know and work with in the area.\u00a0 If you can put it in any newsletters and distribute via social media, that would be even better.
