PE and Swimming

Hi everyone!

Just a note to say our pool will close for Summer on Thursday 27th June. So there will be no swimming on the last day but we will be running on our normal timetable until then. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Thank you to all of our boys and girls for their super efforts over the last year,  I’m already looking forward to what next year will bring for the talented and hard working pupils of Firpark Primary School. 🤸🏼‍♂️🏆🥇

Here is a link to some short videos of our hard work from this year:

Swimming Gala 2019

Our boys and girls showcased their excellent swimming skills at our Annual Swimming Gala on Friday 14th June.

The spectators were really impressed with our amazing technique and the huge improvements we have made in our strokes during the year.

All of the P.7 pupil’s were involved in this event as well as a selection of pupils across the school and at the end of the day, we had a medal ceremony to celebrate our achievements!

On Monday morning, the Junior boys and girls were piped round to the gym hall by Ross and Murray from Lenzie Academy to begin our Highland Games. Everyone put in such a great effort all day and had great fun with our activities! Our Junior photos are on the link below:

On Tuesday, our Infant boys and girls were piped round to the hall by Emma, our bagpipe procession is on twitter for all to enjoy.

The Infant boys and girls had a fantastic time at their Highland Games and tried so hard at each activity! All of the results were so close and this shows how hard the boys and girls work all year to improve their skills. Our Infant photos are on the link below:
