{"id":11290,"date":"2020-04-05T09:33:56","date_gmt":"2020-04-05T09:33:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/cumbernauldprimary\/?p=11290"},"modified":"2020-04-05T09:33:56","modified_gmt":"2020-04-05T09:33:56","slug":"update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/cumbernauldprimary\/2020\/04\/05\/update\/","title":{"rendered":"Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Key worker information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Update &#8211; Friday 3 April 2020<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>School and Childcare Support for Key Workers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the school Spring holiday starts from today, please note that we are providing a seven-day school and childcare support operation across ten school hubs over the Easter break &#8211; including the Easter weekend.<\/p>\n<p>This support is ONLY for key workers to enable them to carry out their critical roles in the NHS or other essential services during this health emergency.<\/p>\n<p>All ten of our school hubs will be open from:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday to Friday &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>between the hours of 8am and 8pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturdays and Sundays &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>between the hours of 10am to 3pm<\/p>\n<p>It is\u00a0<strong>essential<\/strong>, to stop the spread of\u00a0coronavirus, that parents and carers who are able to take care of their children at home or have a partner who is not a key worker, provide childcare. Children and young people will be offered a range of indoor and outdoor active play, sport and leisure activities with Active Schools, Culture and Leisure North Lanarkshire (CLNL) and third-sector partners for the after-care and weekend service.<\/p>\n<p>In line with government guidance, all staff and children and young people attending the hub schools are exercising social distancing measures and practising good hand hygiene while enjoying a range of activities.<\/p>\n<p>Appropriate risk assessments have been carried out at each venue and incorporate relevant adult\/pupil ratios and the specific needs of children and young people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES\u00a0<\/strong>should any child who has symptoms of coronavirus, or who lives in a household where someone has symptoms, present at school.
