Maths we have been learning our learn-its, Our 2 & 5 times tables. We have been practising them all the time, playing different games and things. We are finding this all new, different & fun.

In Health and Wellbeing, with Mrs Cornwell on a Monday we have been enjoying using the wall bars. We put out 5 different stations, like skipping, juggling, hula hoops and Javelins. We are all able to put out all of the equipment safely and can attach the bench to make a slide, which has been so much fun. Everyone is confident at climbing up the wall bars, even up to the top.

The ropes are really good fun as well & we love swinging on them like mad monkeys, we are having an amazing time.

In Literacy we have been working on our phonemes, such as , ‘au’, ‘ow’ and our new one ‘y’. We have been playing games to try to remember which words have which phoneme sound in it.

In taught writing we wrote our 27 word story and then we did a re-draft of the stories on the IPads. It was really good fun and we loved writing our stories as well as using the IPads for Literacy.

For our reading Primary 3s got their first chapter book, called, ‘The Boy Racer’ We are really enjoying the book so far.The P4s have been reading about Max & they are really enjoying their books. Primary 4s wrote instructions about how to make Max fly like Pecky which was good fun too.

In Expressive Arts with Mrs Bokas we did landscapes and leaves please look at the photos.

Thanks for reading our news, we hope you’re having as much fun as us.
