Wikispaces

2.2 are going to be doing something different for the term.

The class are going to perform the same tasks as the other classes but are going to use wiki spaces to create the Olympic site (The site is only able to be accessed by the class at the moment).

Each person in the class is going to work either individually or as part of a small team, to create a page about a part of the Olympics that interests them. The teams will be created if two or more people pick the same topic.

In today’s lesson I handed out user names and passwords to the whole class and we created a link to the new page we are going to be working on. We hit problems quite quickly, as whole class updated a page at once, wiki spaces got confused and lost some links. I expected some slight teething problems, so we managed to work round it and by the end of the period we had managed to all get the page we wanted.
