Rights Respecting Schools Group

Our Rights Respecting Schools group meets every Friday and is made up of pupils from various year groups. They have the chance to air their views on the school, suggest changes and work together on events which highlight the importance of pupil views, pupil voice and showing respect to each other.

Thought Boxes

Thought boxes were designed and created by the RRS group as a way for pupils to share their worries and concerns in a confidential manner. Boxes were locked but checked regularly by staff who would review the messages and discuss ways to resolve issues raised.

Promoting Positive Friendships Leaflet

The Rights Respecting Schools group created a leaflet for pupils and parents to highlight the importance of friendship, working together and showing respect to others. It also highlighted the negative impact of bullying.
