Sport Relief at Clarkston Primary

Last week the boys and girls of Clarkston Primary raised money for Sport Relief.   Pupils and staff worked together to run the Sport Relief mile around the football pitch.  The nursery class got involved by showing off their best dance skills and aerobic moves.  Thank you to all parents and guardians for their support in helping us to raise money for a great charity.  The nursery class raised £67.30 and the school has raised £381.62…….Well done everyone!!!

Glitter Tattoo Heaven!

Pupils have been in glitter tattoo heaven this week as part of our Spring Fun Fortnight.  Members of the PTA have worked tirelessly over the last few days to ensure pupils are all glittered up!  By the end of the week, PTA members will have glitter tattooed over 400 children – wow!  Lots of fun is being had by all.

Choir ‘Wow’ St Andrew’s Hospice

Choir members wowed St Andrew’s Hospice today.  The children sang a variety of Scottish songs to over 120 guests and the director of the hospice.  The songs proved a favourite for all.  The quality and volume of singing was fabulous and the behaviour of all pupils was excellent.  Clarkston has got talent!!!

Base 2

The boys and girls in Base 2 recently performed in their class assembly.   They gave us lots of information about Scottish weather and of how to stay safe in our very unpredictable Scottish climate.  We were in for a real treat when they were able to recite the poem “Robin Robin Reid Breast” by JK Annand and performed The Virginia Reel.  Wow……we’ve got real talent in Base 2.
