Celebrating Success – New Email Launch
We would like to communicate with you a new, bespoke school email address that we would love parents/families and staff to use to make us aware of any success stories about your child/children.
This will provide us with an improved way of celebrating the many achievements (in school and outwith school) of our young people.
success@chrystonhigh.n-lanark.sch.uk
This email address is not replacing any of our usual school contact details but is an additional one specific to sharing good news stories. This will create a platform to celebrate even more pupil success through announcements, tweets and newsletters. We look forward to reading the many emails that I am sure will begin to fill up the new inbox in the coming months!

North Lanarkshire Schools Swimming Championships
Competition Report by Dillon Coulson
Chryston High School Sports Ambassador for Swimming
“On the 2nd of November I attended the NL Swimming Championships with Mrs Walker and our swimmers. This was a real motivation for me, I felt like I was fighting for every gold as I watched each and every swimmer. It made me feel like I wanted to stick my shorts on and dive in, but unfortunately not. Our Chryston swimmers were high achievers at the competition.
- Isla McDonald had a fantastic swim coming inches close to her PB.
- Lauren Addyman won a medal in all her events getting gold in the 200m Fly, 100m fly, 400m IM and silver in her 200m IM.
- Heather Lees had 6 great swims getting gold in her 100m Free, 200m IM, 100m and 200m Breast, 100m Back, 100m Fly.
- Kerr Martin also achieved all golds in 100m and 200m Breast, 100m and 200m back, 200m IM.
- Greg Fairbairn also swam 5 exceptional races bringing home with him a silver in his 200m Back and 200m Free, 100m and 200m Breast, 200m IM
Overall it was a huge success for the school earning 17 golds and 2 silvers!”
