Dear Parent/Carer,

According to our annual school calendar we are looking forward to our S3/4/5 Parent Options Information Evening on Tuesday 18th January 6.30-
7.15pm.

Unfortunately, due to Reducing the Risk of COVID-19 guidance for schools, we are still unable to invite parents and carers to the school
building as normal. With this is mind, we are conducting our session online via WebEx. The session can be accessed by clicking on the link
on the letter that was emailed to all parents of S3, S4 and S5.

The Information Evening is an opportunity for you to gain an insight into our option choice process as your child transitions into the next stage
of their learning at Chryston High School. Parental involvement and support in making option choices is a key factor in young people making
the best choices to suit their strengths, needs and career pathways.

There will be a presentation and then an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function. The session will be recorded and made available
on the school website and a FAQ help sheet produced.

As always, we endeavour to do our very best as we navigate our new system as mentioned above. Please contact the school office if you
require any support in advance of the parents’ evening.

S2 Parents Evening – Tuesday 25th January

Good afternoon,

In line with our 2021-22 school calendar, we are very much looking forward to our S2 Parents’ Evening which will take place online on Tuesday 25th November 4.15pm – 6.45pm.  There are three important documents attached below, please ensure to read them all to support you to book appointments in advance of the parents evening and to support you on the night whilst conducting online parent appointments.

Please use the guide to support you.  Please also use the FAQ document as it contains helpful information and advice in preparation for online Parents’ Evenings via The Parent Booking System – a direct link to the system can be found in both the attached letter and the Parent Guide.

We have already successfully facilitated online parents evening appointments for S4, S5 and S6 parents prior to the Christmas holidays and parental feedback via surveys has been very positive.  With this in mind, thanks to the school community (parents/carers and staff) for your continued patience, understanding and support.  If we can help in any way prior to the night, please contact our school office in the first instance.

Please click the links below to access a letter, a FAQ document and a Parent Guide.

Kind regards.
