McLay<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">The Parent Council&#8217;s rights and duties include:<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the work of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Representing the views of parents.<\/li>\n<li>Consulting with parents and reporting back to the Parent Forum on matters of\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 interest.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the wider community.<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising.<\/li>\n<li>Taking part in the selection of Senior Promoted Staff.<\/li>\n<li>Receiving reports from the Head Teacher and Education Authority.<\/li>\n<li>Receiving an annual budget for administration, training and other expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Improving home\/school partnership and facilitating parental involvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">You can contact any member of our Parent Council by emailing:<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"mailto:chapelsidepc@hotmail.co.uk\">chapelsidepc@hotmail.co.uk<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">You can also fill in a comments slip (found on the Parent Council Notice Board in the Reception area of the school).<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Parent Council: Chairperson:\u00a0 Ms J.
