SANTA SCAVENGER HUNT 🎅🏻
When Santa came to visit Queenzieburn, he lost his sleigh bells! Luckily P3/4 managed to use clues to find them along with Santa’s magic key. We wrote a letter back to Santa and used his magic dust to send his things back. Santa was so happy with us he left a lovely treat for us to enjoy. Well done P3/4, have a Merry Christmas and listen out for Santa’s sleigh bells!
LET IT SNOW!
We were so excited to play in the snow for the first time this winter! ❄️
Measure
We have had lots of fun learning all about measure. We have been learning about weight, volume/capacity, length and surface area! We used lots of problem solving skills when we weighed different items, measured our height and even made some magic potions using our measuring skills! Great job everyone!
Celebrating St. Andrew’s Day
In Room 3 we learned about the Patron Saint of Scotland St. Andrew. We learned that on the 30th of November we celebrate St Andrew’s day by listening to traditional Scottish music and Ceilidh dancing. We had fun dancing to The Dashing White Sergeant!
PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SOURCES
We had great fun learning about what primary and secondary sources are. We became Time Detectives and travelled back in time to make comparisons about living then and living now, and how we know there are differences. This is what were working towards achieving:We really enjoyed searching the room looking for pictures of items and then deciding whether they were a primary or secondary source. Here are some other photos of us working hard at learning.
