Today was the first day of advent and primary 1/2 were surprised and excited to see their play areas had changed overnight! They’ve had great fun today playing, writing letters to Santa, making Christmas play doh cookies and reading winter stories in the den 🎄⭐️🤶🎅
Today was P1/2’s second outdoor Learning day this year. They had lots of fun on a scavenger hunt using their 5 senses to find all sorts of weird and wonderful items! They enjoyed learning about lighting a fire and getting the chance to create their own fire sparks with the flint and steal. Toasted marshmallows were a big hit! They worked in teams to create some super bird feeders and enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen making some muddy recipes 😋 🔥 🐦 🧑🍳 
P1/2 had great fun using the natural materials they had found to create some lovely Autumn art work for our wall display 🍃🍁

Everyone had great fun building their dens today. We ended up with a pizza shop called Reynolds Pizza Place with a macaroni pizza special. A burger place with a macaroni burger special. And a hotel called Hotel Stay where you can play with cars and look through telescopes! 🍔 🍕 🚗 🔭
Today the children had a special visit from the Chapelgreen fairies asking them to help find and create a lovely fairy garden. What a lovely job they did!
P1/2 had some fun this afternoon hunting for some natural materials to help with some art work this week. It was wet and muddy, the perfect conditions for trying out their school waterproofs 🌧 🍃🍂🪵
P1/2 had a great time at football today. They were dribbling, shooting and playing an epic game of Braveheart! 14 goals during the match at the end made for happy children 😄
A big well done to our super Star Writers this week 👏🏻⭐️🤩 They all wrote a great story about a sunny day ☀️
