Today was P1/2’s second outdoor Learning day this year. They had lots of fun on a scavenger hunt using their 5 senses to find all sorts of weird and wonderful items! They enjoyed learning about lighting a fire and getting the chance to create their own fire sparks with the flint and steal. Toasted marshmallows were a big hit! They worked in teams to create some super bird feeders and enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen making some muddy recipes 😋 🔥 🐦 🧑🍳

The bird feeders were great. Children from other classes showed interest in these as they spotted them around the school. P1/2 really enjoyed this great day that Mrs Brodie planned and kept telling everyone they had to stay outside every minute of the day! The weather did not put anyone off!
