Our brilliant artists created some super pictures of the sun today! We were working on blending colours. The children had great fun mixing the colours with their hands 👨🏻‍🎨 👩🏽‍🎨 🎨

The best time of the week for the children is golden time. When they are rewarded for working hard all week and get a chance to play with their friends and have lots of fun 🤩

A big well done to our first star writers of the year, Harvey, Lachlan, Henry, Abigail and Kelvin! Five super stories about our teddy bear picnic ⭐️👏🏻🤩

 

This week we have been Learning about shapes. The children have been learning the names of 2D shapes with some children even knowing what an octagon is and how many sides it has! Today we went outdoors in the lovely weather to sort 2D and 3D shapes into different categories. The children also had fun creating 2D pictures and 3D towers. ⭕️ 🔲🔷🔺🛑

P1/2 have been playing really well together and forming really good friendships with each other. It’s lovely to see them getting on so well ☺️

The children have been working on their line drawing skills by practising drawing people. They worked really hard to create these super master pieces  🎨👨🏻‍🎨👩🏽‍🎨

They made to the end of their first week 🙌🏼👏🏼🎉🤩 and what a week it’s been! The children were rewarded with a visit to the park this afternoon where they had lots of fun playing with their friends.
