P5-7 have really enjoyed reading the novel “How to train your dragon”.\u00a0 They have developed their reading skills as well as talking and listening, sharing ideas and opinions.<\/p>\n

Pupils were working on writing instructions\/procedures and used this genre of writing to create instructions about ‘How to catch a dragon’.\u00a0 Pupils used a storyboard first, to identify the steps and to experiment with how diagrams\/illustrations can support the reader’s understanding of the text.\u00a0 Here are some examples.<\/p>\n
