Change the font and colour for each word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reading, Writing, Listening and Talking activities you can do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read for enjoyment daily \u2013 nothing improves your reading like reading regularly<\/li>\n<li>Keep a list of the books you read and review some of them \u2013 you could record video reviews or review in a written format of your choosing. You could even take photographs of every book you read and count them all at the end of each week!<\/li>\n<li>Create an information poster about your favourite book character. Remember to include a character picture, text and colour!<\/li>\n<li>Ask someone to give you a letter of the alphabet. You have two minutes to think of an animal, place and food\/drink beginning with that letter!<\/li>\n<li>Practise handwriting \u2013 use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doorwayonline.org.uk\/activities\/letterformation\/\">doorway online<\/a> for handwriting formation<\/li>\n<li>Practise your typing skills \u2013 use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bitesize\/topics\/zf2f9j6\/articles\/z3c6tfr\">BBC Dance Mat Typing <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Write a story or diary entry about a day at home!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Maths Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Practice your times tables! You should focus on the 2x, 4x, 5x and 10x \u2013 but why not challenge yourself to learn different tables?!<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/public\/chapelgreen\/uploads\/sites\/26594\/2020\/03\/23110622\/Times-Tables.pdf\">Times Tables<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ask someone for a number between 0 and 100. Now write down as many addition, subtraction questions you know that can make that number!<\/li>\n<li>Gather some of your toys together. Now put them into order. First tallest to shortest. Then shortest to tallest. Then heaviest to lightest. Then lightest to heaviest.<\/li>\n<li>Add up all the ages of people in your house!<\/li>\n<li>Create a maths board game to play with others!<\/li>\n<li>Find a pattern in your house, e.g. wallpaper, tiles, on the duvet. Can you describe it? Draw and colour in the pattern.<\/li>\n<li>Walk around your house.
