  • Improving our work: Peer and Self Assessment.

The pupils were peer assessing each other’s stories and self assessing their own work. Lots of great conversation about their learning and how to improve their standards. Well Done.

  • Speed in our local area: Using Speed Guns

Our pupils ventured into the local area to look at the speed of cars passing through the village. They predicted that cars travel quickly through the village. They had experience of using Speed guns and then recorded their results.  They have decided to make posters to encourage drivers to slow down.

  • Robert Burns

Our pupils were learning all about our beloved poet Robert Burns last week.  They learned lots of interesting facts about Rabbie, his life and what inspired him to write.  They participated in a fun quiz!

The competition was very close. Chapelgreen Primary certainly knew lots about Rabbie Burns! Well Done to our winners! 🙌🏆

  • Eco-Litter Picking

Our pupils in Chapelgreen are working hard on their Eco Action Plan. Our Litter Pickers were out in full force last week keeping our playground litter free and tidy. Well done!!
