The main aim of improvement planning, as stated by North Lanarkshire Council, is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service particularly in relation to the quality of learning and teaching.

Every year we evaluate our practice, produce an Annual Improvement Report and compile our Annual Improvement Plan for the following session. In arriving at our School Improvement Priorities, we take account of national expectations, North Lanarkshire Council Service Plan, Cluster Priorities, and the audit of the previous year’s Improvement Plan which takes into account the views of pupils, staff, parents, carers and the wider school community.
