The uniform is actively supported by our pupils, parents and the Parent Council and is of great benefit to our young people.<\/p>\n<p>The school uniform is:<br \/>\n    \u2022 School blazer<br \/>\n    \u2022 White shirt<br \/>\n    \u2022 School tie<br \/>\n    \u2022 Black trousers<br \/>\n    \u2022 Black skirt<br \/>\n    \u2022 Appropriate school footwear<\/p>\n<p>PE Kit<br \/>\nIt is important that pupils come prepared to learn and for PE this requires appropriate clothing.<br \/>\nAll jewellery should be removed. Pupils who are not participating in PE must have a note or a<br \/>\nmedical certificate. Pupils who are unable to participate in practical PE should still bring their kit<br \/>\nto allow them to assist in the lesson by refereeing, keeping scores or assisting with the<br \/>\ndistribution of equipment. This ensures that they are still able to take part in some way in the<br \/>\nwork of the class and do not miss out on the knowledge and understanding of the course.<\/p>\n<p>There are forms of dress that are unacceptable in school, such as items of clothing which:<br \/>\n\u2022 Potentially encourage factions (such as football colours)<br \/>\n\u2022 Could cause offence (such as anti-religious symbolism or political slogans)<br \/>\n\u2022 Could cause health and safety difficulties (such as loose-fitting clothing, jewellery)<br \/>\n\u2022 Could cause damage to flooring<br \/>\n\u2022 Carry advertising particularly for alcohol or tobacco<br \/>\n\u2022 Could be used to inflict damage on other pupils<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School Dress Code Our school uniform promotes a real sense of school identity, shared values, self -confidence and a shared sense of community.
