{"id":3701,"date":"2017-11-09T10:13:51","date_gmt":"2017-11-09T10:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/calderhead\/?p=3701"},"modified":"2017-11-08T10:14:08","modified_gmt":"2017-11-08T10:14:08","slug":"pupils-get-energised","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/calderhead\/2017\/11\/09\/pupils-get-energised\/","title":{"rendered":"Pupils Get Energised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S2 pupils participated in a \u201cGet Energised\u201d Investigation Day at the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride recently and learned about renewable energy by participating in workshops where they had the opportunity to build their own hydro turbine, and engineer a wave technology model.<\/p>\n<p>S4 Physics pupils also enjoyed a Challenge day at the Museum, where they got the chance to learn more about solar, wind, hydro and wave power by conducting experiments and meeting challenges.
