It has also been a busy time for our cross country runners. Two teams from Calderhead High School participated in the Scottish Schools Athletic Association Cross Country Championships at Dechmont Law on 5th March and contended with mud, biting wind, freezing rain and undulating ground to finish the course in good time.<\/p>\n

Teams from S1 \u2013S3 also participated in the North Lanarkshire Schools Cross Country on 16th March, again in very wet conditions. Well done to all the participants, particularly for coping with such challenging conditions. The\u00a0S1 Girls “A” team finished 12th, the S1 Girls “B” 27th, \u00a0the S1 Boys 21st, and the S2 Boys 15th. Well done everyone!<\/p>\n
