Travel and Tourism<\/strong> is a qualification run by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) designed as an introductory course into the travel & tourism industry. It offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes useful for work in this sector.<\/p>\n

UK & Worldwide<\/strong><\/td>\nSimilar ideas, but looking further afield \u2014 other parts of the UK, Europe, and long\u2011haul international destinations. Trends, comparisons, holiday planning, etc.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Customer Service<\/strong><\/td>\nFocus on dealing with customers: how to meet their needs, how to respond to enquiries, complaints, and promote services\/products.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Employability<\/strong><\/td>\nSkills needed for working in the travel & tourism industry: job roles, being a good employee, preparing for work, and maybe exploring what skills you have \/ might need.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This qualification is internally assessed<\/strong>, meaning work is completed and then marked by the school.
