Calderhead High School Library and Resource Centre

Just now we are still following social distancing and quarantine rules so the Library will be a little different at first:
  • not as many pupils will be able to use the library at once and only those with library passes can come in at lunchtime or break
  • you will need to sanitise your hands when you come into and leave the library and socially distance when you’re here
  • there will be fewer computers
  • initially you will nor be able to browse the bookshelves and pick up books but you will be able to see the library catalogue online or ask Mrs Lumsden for a recommendation
  • you will only be able to borrow one book at a time
  • books will have to be quarantined for 3 days

You can access the online library catalogue as follows:

As well as being a quiet place to read or study, the Library has an ICT suite and printers. Classes regularly use the library and it is open to pupils before school, at interval and lunchtime.
