Physics CareersPhysics is the study of how things work and it allows us to appreciate and understand the world we live in. It explores a range of questions such as how did the Universe begin? What is a black hole? How does heat get to Earth? How can an object be made to accelerate quicker?

Physics is a qualification that is valued by employers, colleges and Universities. It develops an analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving which prepares students for the many challenges they will encounter in life. Students will gain practical skills when the plan, perform and report on experiments and improve their numeracy skills by solving problems and analysing results.

A qualification in physics can lead to careers in a variety of areas including finance, engineering, medicine and renewable energy.
