We are delighted to announce that Calderbank Primary has been awarded a Sport Scotland Silver School Sport Award for 2016-2017.

The Silver School Sport Award is recognition of the school’s dedication to putting physical education and school sport at the heart of a school’s planning, practice and ethos.

The Silver Award also highlights that your school has shown improvement across the core areas of the Award and demonstrated an on-going commitment to increase young people’s opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport and leadership and provide clear pathways to life-long participation in sport.

The Sports Committee led by Mrs Young would like to say a big thank you to all who support and provide the specialist Active School visits, lunchtime and after school clubs. We are very grateful to our parent helpers who volunteer to deliver such fantastic PE clubs.
