{"id":361,"date":"2018-11-29T14:47:58","date_gmt":"2018-11-29T14:47:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/braidhurstwiderachievement\/?page_id=361"},"modified":"2018-11-29T14:57:57","modified_gmt":"2018-11-29T14:57:57","slug":"s1-asdan-keysteps","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/braidhurstwiderachievement\/s1-asdan-keysteps\/","title":{"rendered":"S2 ASDAN KEYSTEPS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Through S2 PHSE pupils will be working through the ASDAN Stepping Stones course.<\/p>\n<p>What is it in a nutshell?<\/p>\n<p>Key Steps\u00a0is a comprehensive programme of activities in a range of topic areas covering Citizenship, PSHE, Environment Education, Personal Finance Education, Enterprise and Internationalism.<\/p>\n<p>What are the Stepping Stones skills?<\/p>\n<p>Key Steps challenges provide an excellent opportunity to develop the skills of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Learning<\/li>\n<li>Coping with Problems<\/li>\n<li>Use of IT<\/li>\n<li>Use of English<\/li>\n<li>Use of Maths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do the young people have to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can gain up to 3 Key Steps certificates, meaning you could do 30, 60 or 90 hours of work in total.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once they have finished their challenges, completed the Summary of Achievement and their Personal Statement.
