Our second literacy event for October is highlighting Dyslexia Awareness. As a school we have many pupils who experience dyslexia and it was very important to our literacy ambassador team to bust some assumptions about dyslexia.<\/p>\n

Two of our S2 literacy ambassadors Lily and Emma created a very informative power point on dyslexia (with the help of a few of our S1 literacy ambassadors) which the two girls volunteered to present to every S2 class in an effort to promote the fact that dyslexia is not a bad thing. A huge well done girls!<\/p>\n

We also hosted a bake sale on Wednesday 27th October to raise funds for Dyslexia Scotland which the literacy ambassadors organised with our staff committee member Miss Galloway. The pupils managed to raise \u00a338!<\/p>\n
